Children in Gaza
Our guests are children from the West Bank, who suffer many things - but some of them will be here to tell us about their lives.
However, no children from Gaza can be with us this time to tell us their stories.
We will not forget them, the huge things that they have suffered this summer and the terrible reality they are suffering still.

“I hope for peace in the future in Palestine.” .
The CADFA volunteers in Abu Dis have been working with the young people coming, telling them about the UK, helping with English and helping with their presentations.
If you would like more info on the CADFA volunteer scheme in Palestine, see here...
http://camdenabudis.net/volunteerinpalestine.html
The volunteers have a blog of their experiences here... http://abudisvolunteers.blogspot.co.uk/
Here is something written by one of the CADFA volunteers about one of the boys coming....
Qays, 15
Qays is from Abu Dis and studies at Abu Dis Boy’s School.
I worked with him in developing a presentation he made about the situation in Palestine and his life in Abu Dis, that he will present to children in Camden. He combines cheeky mannerisms with a willingness to learn and his English is coming along very well. He was a pleasure to work with and I wish him the best of luck with his presentation in the UK.
