It took us some time to get to the Manchester event which was in Subrosa Cafe... We decided that the young people had done too many presentations in the previous days so Nandita spoke about CADFA and the visits and volunteering opportunities, and Abed spoke about the visit and about the current human rights situation in Palestine. But as the meeting warmed up, so did the young people from Palestine who also joined in - Anas and Qais gave short talks, and then so did Nick, who had been a CADFA volunteer in Abu Dis.
Thanks to those who cooked and came and contributed. There was some discussion about a possible Manchester twinning with Nablus - Good luck to this if it happens.
