We heard Adam and Johar had been shot so we collected GET WELL signatures for them
Footballers at Camden and Islington Youth League signed the cards
We got hundreds of signatures and sent the cards to Adam and Johar in hospital in Jordan
They looked pleased!
And they got better
We were so pleased to hear that after three months, they were well enough to go back home
BUT
they didn't get home, they were arrested by Israeli soldiers at the border
It was Adam's 18th birthday but he was in jail. So CADFA had a cake for him with no candles...
We ran a campaign with a petition and lots of letter writing complaining that the charges were obviously fake
Suddenly they were released - This is Adam on people's shoulders as the whole town celebrated!
CADFA held another party for Adam's birthday, this time with candles to celebrate. Adam and Johar joined us on Skype!
